Hi Product Hunt 👋
We're the team at Pine AI, and today we're launching Pine Computer: a cloud computer built for AI.
Why we built it: today we teach AI to use computers the way people do, with a screen for eyes and a keyboard for hands. Models keep getting smarter, but they spend much of that intelligence working around software designed for humans. Pine AI's systems have handled millions of real-world tasks for people, and that work showed us what AI needs from a computer. So we built one around it.
How it works: 🧩 Read: AI reads what each thing on screen is and what it can do, instead of guessing from pixels ⚡ Sense: it's told the moment something changes, so it never sits polling a page 🖥️ See: many virtual screens, rendered in memory only when it needs to look 🔒 Access: each computer is sealed off and reached only through your code; your keys stay with you
For developers, it's a few lines: create a computer, open a session, and hand the agent a job like "pull last month's invoices from the supplier portals into the ledger." When the job hits a sign-in or an approval, your user takes the controls and hands them back.
What people are building: permit renewals across city portals, market research reports, insurance renewal forms, shopping assistants, marketplace listing updates, and QA test runs. There are 26 use cases on our site.
In our preliminary internal tests, Pine Computer finished the same tasks 2–5× faster than AI on a conventional computer, at about 1/25 of the model API cost. Results vary by task, and we'd love to hear how it does on yours.
Pine Computer is in invite-only beta. You can request access at pinecomputer.io.

Congrats on the launch! The handoff for sign-ins and approvals caught my eye. I'd want to take the controls at those points too.

the "let a person take over for sign-ins or approvals" handoff is the part I'd want to stress test. the moment a human gets pulled in is usually the worst possible moment to need context, a 2FA prompt or a CAPTCHA mid workflow, and the person taking over didn't watch the AI's last ten actions. do they get shown what the agent was doing and why it's stuck, or just a raw screen with no story, because "here's a login box, good luck" is a rough handoff if you don't know what job is actually in progress or how far along it got

What a great idea!
Can I run my existing infra? Hermes, Venice, etc.
